Pilot Digital Deep Mapping Project
Garn Fawr
In 2019 I worked with Span Arts in Pembrokeshire on a pilot deep mapping project as part of Span Digidol. A short film documenting the process can be viewed by clicking on the photo above. The film records an intensive weekend spent at Garn Fawr on the Strumble Head Peninsula in the company of a geologist, archaeologist, botanist and poet. The map created as a result of this weekend can also be viewed at the following web address: https://mapdigi.org. The map was developed in collaboration with Span Trustee and Software Developer Alan Cameron Wills. The project was funded by the Arts Council of Wales, the Leader programme through Arwain Sir Benfro and Pembrokeshire County Council.
Yn 2019 gweithiais gyda Span Arts yn Sir Benfro ar broject peilot mapio dwfn fel rhan o Span Digidol. Gellir gweld ffilm fer sy’n dogfennu’r broses trwy glicio ar y llun uchod. Mae’r ffilm yn dangos penwythnos dwys a gynhaliwyd ar Garn Fawr ar Benrhyn Pencaer yng nghwmni daearegwr, archeolegwr, botanegydd a bardd. Gellid gweld y map a grëwyd arlein hefyd.
