Pilot Digital Deep Mapping Project

Garn Fawr

In 2019 I worked with Span Arts in Pembrokeshire on a pilot deep mapping project as part of Span Digidol. A short film documenting the process can be viewed by clicking on the photo above. The film records an intensive weekend spent at Garn Fawr on the Strumble Head Peninsula in the company of a geologist, archaeologist, botanist and poet. The map created as a result of this weekend can also be viewed at the following web address: https://deep-map.azurewebsites.net/. The project was funded by the Arts Council of Wales, the Leader programme through Arwain Sir Benfro and Pembrokeshire County Council.
